Non-judicial mediation
Out-of-court mediation is a procedure for resolving administrative disputes, during which one or more mediators help the disputing parties to resolve the dispute amicably in a case pending before the Commission.
The purpose of out-of-court mediation is to ensure constructive dialogue and negotiations between the parties to the dispute, with the aim of resolving the dispute under consideration by the Commission as quickly as possible at the lowest costs and preserving the confidentiality of information.
Non-judicial mediation in administrative cases is carried out by mediators and members of the Commission registered in the list of mediators of the Republic of Lithuania. Mediators who are members of the Commission can only conduct non-judicial mediation of administrative disputes.
